How Long can I keep my skip for?
We recommend to keep your skip no longer than 1 to 2 weeks if possible. Should you need require the skip for a further week, this is easy completed at a fee of £100+vat.
What is NOT allowed in my skip?
We can not take the below items:
- Asbestos
- Mattresses
- Fridges/Freezers
- Electrical Goods (Computer
- Towers/Monitors/Televisions/Microwaves)
- Tyres – All types
- FULL Paint Tins (Only EMPTY)
- Engine Oil
- Petrol & Diesel
- Solvents/Resins
- Liquids & Sludge
- Gas Bottles/Cylinders (full or Empty)
- Food Waste
- Clinical Waste & Syringes
- Fluorescent Tubes
- Dangerous, Flammable or Hazardous waste
- Loose Plasterboard
How can I pay for my skip?
If you call on 01303 894979 and you can pay with a Visa Debit, Mastercard over the phone or via BACS.
What if my skip will be on the road?
It will require a Road Permit from the Highways. The minimum permit is 7 days, the charge for this is £50, should you need to go over the 7 days, we will contact you and renew the permit again for the minimum charge.
Are you licensed to remove and dispose of my waste?
PHS are Fully Licensed and has an approved Waste Carrier License, which means you can be assured of our dedication to the responsible handling of your waste.
What’s more, we do our best to recycle as much of the waste we collect as possible, minimizing its environmental impact and the amount of waste that is sent to landfill.
All items, that are possible to recycle, are recycled by us or sent to specialist companies to recycle.
What happens to my waste?
Your waste is taken to our fully licensed, in house waste transfer and sorting facility. Here it is manually sorted and the seperated waste streams are sent for onward recycling.

A FEW DO’s & DONT’s
LEVEL LOADS
We can only legally transport level loads, if your skip is overloaded we will not be able to collect it and you may face additional charges so please be careful loading!
PLASTERBOARD
We can accept plasterboard in two ways, either bagged seperately and placed on top of mixed waste skips or in skips designated for plasterboard only.
WASTED JOURNEY’S
Should we encounter a wasted journey, through no fault of our own, a charge relevant to distance will be applied.
